Hi, my name is Chelsea and I'm the Manager at Results Personal Training in Corpus Christi, TX. My goal at Results is to educate, inspire and motivate others to achieve their own personal goals. I take great joy in providing clients with the tools they need to transform their bodies, shed body fat, and lead a more fit and healthy lifestyle.  It won’t be easy and it may take some time, but surround yourself with people who love and support you and go for it!

 Why did you decide to take on personal training?
 My story begins with a 40 pound weight loss. Like many women today, I had a need to drop some weight, feel confident and healthy again. After having 4 children all of this was gone. I was committed to a one year journey of accomplishing all of the above. During my journey, I discovered I had developed a habit that was leading me into a very positive direction. I loved Fitness so much that I became a group fitness instructor and later a personal trainer. Soon I fell into the hands of women that wanted to follow this exact journey and needed assistance.  I realized I wasn't just changing their weight but also changing their life. I also discovered that my happiness now was coming thru helping others and not just myself.  It was no longer about ME but about THE CLIENTS!  THIS WAS MY DEFINING MOMENT THAT PUSHED MY PASSION TO THE LIMIT!

How long have I been in the profession?
 I have been in the fitness industry for over 15 years. I have made gains in my mind, body, and soul, have had the opportunity to change people's lives, and developed a full time business. Passion is my leader in the fitness industry.

 I started with results September of 2014. The experience has been an extremly positive one and by the same token challenging. My opportunity has exposed me to a new avenue of fitness.  I'm equally as grateful to have been given the privlege to work at Results therefore allowing me to continue driving my passion to help members achieve their fitness goals!

 Who are some of your Role models and mentors?
 My role models, without a doubt, are my parents. I was raised in a family with a sister that was a seven-time world champion twirler and an Olympic Boxer as a brother. Both my parents were self employed and they taught us to work hard for anything that we wanted to achieve.   

What is one thing most people don't know about you?
 I taught baton twirling on a national and world level for 25 years and traveled to different nations working with athletes.

 What is my favorite food?
Nachos and french fries

What is your favorite exercise/movement?
 Love to work legs! Squats

  Favorite motto or quote?
 You must build a HABIT before you can build your MUSCLE.

I love helping others accomplish their goals.

-Attended A.C. Jones High School in Beeville Tx.
-Attended Coastal Bend College and received my Associates in Science/Arts

How long have you been in this profession? Please describe your experience.
I have been a personal trainer for 3 years now. It has truly been a blessing to be able to change lives and help others achieve their ultimate goals.

How long have you worked for this company? Please describe your experience.
I've worked at Results since Aug 2015 and my experience has been amazing. I love the energy here!

Who are some of your role models and mentors?
My biggest mentors would have to be my two older brothers. They always taught me to work hard at everything I do in life, no matter what the obstacle is.

What is one thing that most people don't know about you?
My highest vertical leap was 36 "

What is your favorite exercise/movement?
Bicep curl

What is your favorite dish(breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack)?
Eggs, oatmeal, chicken and rice, steak, hot Cheetos

Favorite quote or motto?
"No Sacrifice No Reward"

Why do you love being a personal trainer? I've always enjoyed working out and I was in charge of getting Marines back to weight standards.  People would ask me for advice and when they started to see changes in their bodies, I got excited. I knew then I wanted to make the world a healthier place.

Achievements? 9 years in the Marine Corps. I learn something new every day but I'm currently a sophomore on my way to a nutrition degree.

Why do you train at Results? I train at Results because I like the atmosphere. It gives me the same sense of pride, camaraderie, and feeling of being a part of something bigger than myself. Just like being in the Marines did.

Role models? My mother, and previous trainer, Drew Canavero.

Favorite movement:  deadlift for sure.

Favorite dish: protein chocolate pancakes and egg white, spinach, tomato, onion, turkey bacon, and feta cheese omelette. If I could eat donuts every day, I would!

Favorite quote? You want to be a beast, you train with a beast!

Why do you love being a nutritionist?
I love bringing hope to someone who feels hopeless, whether it’s reversing diabetes, getting them to a healthy weight so they can start a family and get pregnant, or simply helping them reach their goals without feeling like they are on a diet

Why do you work at Results?
Results is a family, and I have never seen a set of people care more about their members than this team.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I love getting artsy and creating new things, like painting, video editing, photography, or a new recipe

Favorite quote?
Feta is betta than chedda!!

What is your favorite dish?
Anything vegan that is specifically made for me gives me all the feels, I also really like smoothie bowls

How long have you been a nutritionist?
2 years
And a Health and wellness coach for 4 years

Jesus because he loves me and you more than we can possibly imagine

Why I love being a personal trainer? I love that I’m able to meet and interact with clients, I’m constantly inspired by them. Helping them achieve their goals gives me a sense of purpose and satisfaction. I enjoy that I’m able to encourage and help people along in their journeys, when people leave sweating but smiling, that’s when I feel the love for my job, the most!

Why I train at Results? I train at Results because I know that the entire staff truly cares about the safety and success of everyone that walks through the door. Client satisfaction is of the utmost importance and you just don’t get that everywhere! The environment is always friendly and upbeat, trainers work respectfully with one another and trainer client relationships are developed meaningfully. The vibe at Results is hard to beat!

Role Models? Bethann Telford has been an inspiration of mine for some time now. Having completed a marathon with brain cancer and later continuing to run 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days, her tenacity and determination serves as a reminder to me. I’m reminded that despite the challenges we may face, our attitude and drive can carry us further than we can ever imagine.

What is one thing people do not know about me? I love reading. I often read more than one book at a time. I used to have a really hard time loaning my books to others, even when I really wanted them to read them! Unless I knew for certain that they would return them, it wasn’t going to happen! Having been gifted a Kindle this last Christmas, I now do not have to share! Haha! Best gift ever!

Favorite dish? I want to say pizza but I don’t really eat it that often. I eat beef tips and rice with guacamole sauce at least 2-3 times a week. I never get tired of it!

Why do you love being a personal trainer?

It feels great to help people feel better, meet their fitness goals, and enhance their quality of life.

I love the energy and environment. Everyone who works there truly cares about the members and about making sure they’re getting the best experience.

Why do you love being a Personal Trainer?

            Being a personal trainer allows me to take something I love and make it my job.  Personal training is rewarding not only because I get to help people reach their goals, but I also get to see fitness change every aspect of their lives.

Why do you train at Results?

            Results isn’t just about coming in, sweating and going home.  There is a whole team of caring people who make an effort to build relationships with every person who wants to invest in their health.  Each person gets a personalized plan and we cater to all fitness levels.  This gym provides every tool a person needs to a healthier life.

One thing most people don’t know about you?

            I have an irrational fear of cotton balls.  True story.

            I love trying new foods so my faves continue to change.  Right now I would say it’s any type of curry and I love sushi and fish tofu and stir fry and hot pots. I get excited about food! Can’t pick one!

Who are your role models and mentors?

Most of my friends have taught me something I have carried with me through life.  Some have been a friend for a reason, through a season and some for my lifetime.  It’s hard to choose one because I wouldn’t be where I am today without every single person.  Through relationships I have learned how to be a real friend, been introduced to God (biggest life changer), lead to my personal fitness journey and learned to love myself, just the way I am.

Why do you love being a personal trainer? I enjoy being a positive influence in people’s lives. I love inspiring others to create a healthier lifestyle both physically and mentally. Changing lives is an incredible opportunity!


Why do you train at Results? The environment is unique and more comforting than other gyms. The members are there for a purpose which makes it built for success.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you? I’m a huge Harry Potter fan.

Role models / mentors?  My mother would definitely be both my mentor and role model. She is an independent woman who has done everything for my three siblings and me. She’s been the backbone in everything I’ve been a part of in my life.

Why do you love being a personal trainer? Being healthy is so important for peoples mental and physical well being.  I love working with clients and helping them achieve their fitness  goals and make healthy lifestyle changes.  If it's preparing for a race, getting into shape or training for a specific sport; it's rewarding to seeing a client transform and become fit beyond what they thought they were capable.
 
Why do you train at Results? I like the training platform, it's not a one size fits all facility.  The gym has the equipment for a challenging routine, and allows me to train clients in a variety of exercises and cardio.  

What is one thing most people don't know about you? I was a collegiate golfer for Texas Tech University
